Tom likes cooking. One Saturday morning, he wants to make lunch for his family.
First, he rinses some vegetables and peels two potatoes. Then he cuts and chops the potatoes and carrots into small pieces. He boils them in a pot of hot water.
Next, Tom slices an onion and fries it in a pan with a little oil. He stirs the onion slowly. The kitchen smells very nice. Then he adds the boiled vegetables to the onions and fries them together.
Tom also wants to make a cake. He adds flour, sugar, eggs, and milk into a bowl. Then he mixes everything well. Finally, he bakes the cake in the oven.
When the food is ready, Tom’s family comes to the kitchen. They eat the soup and the cake together. Everyone is happy and says the food is delicious.
