Candy Cane Cookie recipe
Ingredients:
40 dag flour
half tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
23 dag soft butter
20 dag confectioners’ sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 teaspoons red food colour
Mix half of the ingredients in one bowl except for the colouring and mix the other half in another bowl with the red food colour. Put the dough in the fridge for half an hour. After refrigerating make long ropes from the different colour doughs, twist two ropes together, cut them to size and form candy canes by curving their tops. Put the candy cane cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180C for about 15 minutes.
This recipe makes about 50 cookies depending on the size of your candy canes.
