A Day at the Beach
If the weather is good tomorrow, we will go to the beach. My friends and I love spending time by the sea. If we arrive early, we will find a good spot near the water. We will bring sandwiches and drinks, so if we get hungry, we will have something to eat.
If we swim too far, the lifeguard will tell us to come back. That’s why we always stay close to the shore. If it gets too hot, we will sit under an umbrella or go for a swim to cool down. Sometimes we play beach volleyball. If we play today, I think our team will win!
We will take some photos too. If the sun is shining, the pictures will look great. In the evening, if we are tired, we will take the bus home. It will be a fun day if everything goes well!
Feltételes mondatok
A First Conditional-t vagy Probable Conditional-t (első vagy valószínű feltételes mondatok) akkor használjuk, amikor azt szeretnénk kifejezni: ha a feltétel teljesül, valószínű, hogy a következmény is megtörténik.
Pl.: If the weather is good we will go to the beach. – Ha jó lesz az idő, elmegyünk a strandra.
Képzése:
Az IF-es tagmondatban jelen időt használunk, a másik tagmondatban will (vagy won’t) + ige szótári alakja kell.
Pl.: If he goes home late, his wife will be angry.
If he doesn’t go home in time, his wife won’t be happy.
If he is late, she will cry.
A tagmondatok felcserélhetőek! Lehet elöl az IF-es rész, de másodikként is.
Pl.: If he is late, she will cry. = She’ll cry if he is late.
